I moved to the U.S. from Germany where I was born and raised and went to school, which I graduated with 3 advanced diplomas. Also, while still in high school, I attended a close-by university for one semester earning credits in Germanic Language and Literature Studies. Back then, I was already a German and English tutor. When I moved to the U.S., I continued teaching and tutoring German as well as English as a Second Language. Seeing as both languages are my passion, I started successfully teaching Creative Writing as well as Academic Writing. Lastly, I made it my full-time profession to be a teacher and tutor after I was a teaching assistant for German at a local college. What I like most about being a tutor is the progress I see in my students from when they start taking lessons with me and how their skills develop each and every session.
