I began tutoring math to high schoolers while at Texas State University - San Marcos, Texas and have continued to do so, which totals about five years of experience. From the university, I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and a master's degree in Secondary Education. I'm also certified to teach math in Texas. While algebra II is a favorite teaching subject, when tutoring, I can also help with geometry, statistics, trigonometry, arithmetic, calculus, and finite mathematics.I think math skills and the reasoning involved can take one far in life. Living in Vancouver, Washington, I like to play volleyball and go hiking, which is a far stretch from the math I am immersed in each day.
