Experience

I spent the first 3 years of my college education at Loyola University Chicago studying English and Spanish. I studied abroad in Costa Rica during my sophomore year, where I completed most of my Spanish major and became fluent in Spanish. During my time there, I tutored a Costa Rican friend in English and very much enjoyed the experience. My senior year, I transferred to Seattle University, where I tutored freshman students in English Composition and Reading Comprehension. Based on these experiences, I realized that I love working one-on-one with students and finding out what works for each individual. I saw my students make great strides in areas of struggle, which made me want to pursue tutoring further. If you are struggling with reading comprehension, composition writing/organization, creative writing, English language or Spanish language - I'm your girl!
